Awesome tips. I am definitely mentally filing those away. Quick question... at what age did you start using time-outs? My little guy is almost 20 months old and I feel like that just wouldn't make sense to him yet.
ReplyDeleteI think it was right before their second birthday but my memory is a tad rusty on exactly when. I'm going to guess 23 months and I remember feeling like they didn't really get it at the age we started but we just kept on trying to help them understand and were really gentle with it at first...not like we're rough with it now but we're definitely a little more demanding and we act more disappointed than we did when we/they started. :)
